Technology is amazing. And keeping up with it can be an
incredible or impossible challenge. The first question to ask yourself is:
"Do our employees know how to use
all of the functionality of all of the various software and technology programs they use day to
day?"
Think of it this way. If you were to master the
functionality of the most basic software programs, you would, at a minimum, save
yourself one hour of time a week. What is 52 hours of time worth to you and everyone in your company?
It is amazing that just about every small business uses Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer,
Photoshop, QuickBooks, and other software
applications, and none provide any training whatsoever on the best use of these
incredible applications.
And most have no clue what the cloud offers. If
