Mysterious Windows Keyboard Key
Today’s
Tip (December 2002) VP wrote the following: John,
I liked the Excel Calculator, but it isn’t that easy to get to my desktop.
I usually have five or more programs open at a time and it takes me 5 or
more clicks just to minimize all of my windows to get to the desktop . . . . . VP, This
is where the mysterious Windows Keyboard Button (usually found on the bottom row
of the keyboard next to the space bar and ALT keys) comes into play.
Hold down the Windows key and hit M. That will minimize every window and get you to your desktop immediately.
